BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 Predictions

We told you that if any team in this tournament could stop FaZe, it’s ENCE, and if any team could stop ENCE, it’s OG. Despite the odds against them OG managed it! They beat the team, that beat the best team in the world! It is safe to say that the fresh look OG squad is formidable and it’s coming to claim the future of CS:GO esports and take the scene by storm

Despite playing with Abdul "degster" Gasanov as a stand-in and two new teammates, OG have won the top spot in Group B and a place in the semi-finals after defeating ENCE 2-0 at the BLAST Premier Spring Final.

With a 1.39-rated performance in the two-map series against Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer's squad, the Russian AWPer played a significant part in OG's second shock of the event, the first coming at the cost of Natus Vincere.

The arduous journey doesn't end there though, OG now finds itself on the opposite side of the bracket from FaZe, the world's best team and currently ranked #1 in HLTV’s World Standings. It is almost a certainty that NAVI will lose against FaZe. It is also good to keep in mind that FaZe is steadily losing momentum, they just lost against G2, and upset their fans. It shows that FaZe’s star may extinguish as fast as it ignited.

Natus Vincere team that is gaining traction thanks to Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev's experience. Group B's elimination series between Natus Vincere and BIG went the way of Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's squad. They made quick work of their German opponents, NAVI was at its worst since the last months, and BIG messed up maybe their only chance of taking down the legendary team. NAVI will be facing FaZe and it’s only a couple of weeks since their last defeat in the face of FaZe. They are not the same NAVI as they once were, although FaZe is steadily losing their performance compared to earlier this year.

We predict that the NAVI vs. FaZe match will end in the favour of FaZe, and the advancing FaZe Clan will clash with OG and despite all odds, OG will win their match against FaZe. In our opinion they are the most promising team to win the BLAST Premier Spring Final.

ENCE, on the other hand, has advanced to the quarter-finals and will face Vitality in a match slated for Friday at 20:00. It will and can go only one way of course, Vitality will win… Just kidding. ENCE will dominate their French speaking opponents, Vitality is last year’s news at this point. They need to get back in shape ASAP. Meanwhile ENCE’s highly possible match against G2 is a blackhole in itself. Both teams are extremely formidable, and have the necessary counters to neutralise each other.

ENCE will win their match against Vitality, Their possible encounter with G2 is currently our highlight match to watch. We are looking forward to watching it liveand it could go either way if we look at the teams. ENCE still poses a higher chance of bringing G2 to its knees, when we take into account their consistent plays. G2’s win might be just sheer luck, or just an unlucky day for FaZe.

Then again this scenario would not even happen in the first place, Vitality shocks the world and proves us all wrong. But we don’t think that’s happening anytime soon.
