BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 schedule and betting odds

With 12 partner teams fighting for glory, BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 kicks off on August 19. We will witness the most excellent CS:GO teams around the world competing for the $27,500 first place prize. Plus, after the Play-In stage, Fall Finals 2022 spots will be awarded to the successful teams.

The first three days will see the teams’ resolve, but no team will be eliminated. Instead, three single-elimination gauntlets will start, where each gauntlet will award one Fall Finals 2022 spot. Second and third place teams will move on to the Last Chance Stage, and fourth place teams will advance to the Fall Showdown.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups schedules

Let’s take a look at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups teams and schedule. Until the Play-In Stage starts, all matches will be played in best-of-one.

Group A

With Team Vitality, OG, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Astralis competing, Group A will be played on August 19. While all four teams have disappointed their fans during recent tournaments, Astralis stands out after their top four finish in Roobet Cup and IEM Cologne. Since the addition of farlig, Astralis’ form has been rising.

However, Team Vitality should have been the favourite in Group A. With one of the best CS:GO players in the world, Vitality suffered more defeats than they should have. Finishing second at Spring Finals 2022 was a good start, and more should follow that. OG also had a good finish at Spring Finals but their recent performances aren’t too bright, while NIP didn’t impress anyone since EPL 15, aside from Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022.

Check out the group schedule:

August 19, Friday
Team Vitality (1.70) vs OG (2.05) - 13:00 CEST
NIP (1.80) vs Astralis (1.90) - 14:00 CEST
Upper Bracket Final - 15:30 CEST
Lower Bracket Round 1 - 16:30 CEST
Lower Bracket Final - 18:00 CEST
Grand Final - 19:30 CEST

Group B

Natus Vincere, Complexity Gaming, G2 Esports and Team Liquid will participate in Group B. Obviously, NAVI is the biggest favourite here, they managed to create the necessary synergy with their stand-in player sdy and will aim to dominate the CS:GO arena once again. They won Spring Finals 2022, and want to repeat the same in Fall Finals.

G2 Esports, Complexity Gaming and Team Liquid had disappointing results all season long, failing to live up to their names. While G2’s roster is still strong enough to repeat the top four finish in Spring Finals, Group B members might have to work their way through Fall Showdown after all.

Check out the group schedule below:

August 20, Saturday
Natus Vincere (1.32) vs Complexity (3.10) - 13:00 CEST
G2 Esports (1.68) vs Team Liquid (2.05) - 14:00 CEST
Upper Bracket Final - 15:30 CEST
Lower Bracket Round 1 - 16:30 CEST
Lower Bracket Final - 18:00 CEST
Grand Final - 19:30 CEST

Group C

Group C will include FaZe Clan, Evil Geniuses, Heroic and BIG. 2022’s unexpected champions FaZe Clan is a clear favourite in Group C, winning four of the seven S-Tier tournaments they attended this year. FaZe should easily make it to Fall Finals without having to think about Fall Showdown and win the $27,500 prize.

Although all the teams from Group C look shaky, BIG managed to defeat FaZe Clan in Roobet Cup final in June, only to end up 17th in IEM Cologne. Heroic seems like a better second place candidate, although they couldn’t achieve as much as they wanted from the S-Tier tournaments they attended this year. EG is a promising team, but should fall behind of these three.

August 21, Sunday
FaZe Clan (1.12) vs Evil Geniuses (5.30) - 13:00 CEST
Heroic (1.72) vs BIG (2.00) - 14:00 CEST
Upper Bracket Final - 15:30 CEST
Lower Bracket Round 1 - 16:30 CEST
Lower Bracket Final - 18:00 CEST
Grand Final - 19:30 CEST
