The end of this year’s BLAST Fall Finals are in sight, as we head into today’s semi final matches.
There’s just four teams left in the tournament now, with both G2 and Natus Vincere (NAVI) being sent home after yesterday’s dramatic quarter finals, after being defeated by Heroic and Ninjas in Pyjamas, respectively.
And those four will be whittled down to just two remaining teams, as all eyes are on today’s games as we move towards tomorrow’s grand final. The remaining four teams are fighting for their share of the $425,000 prize pool, alongside BLAST Premier points and the right to compete at the World Final tournament in December.
Heroic and Team Liquid have a tough day ahead if they hope to remain in the tournament ahead of tomorrow’s final match, where the ultimate winner of the BLAST Fall Finals will be crowned. And both teams have a real chance of taking home the BLAST trophy, having demonstrated excellent performances this week.
With the BLAST Fall Finals ramping up towards its dramatic conclusion, CS:GO fans around the world are waiting to see if either Heroic or Team Liquid can make it all the way to the grand final. Team Liquid v Heroic semi final betting odds
Things are getting tight as we move into this level of the tournament, with both Heroic and Team Liquid playing fantastically so far this week. Today’s match will be the first time we’ve seen Team Liquid since the group stage, after the team won back to back victories against both G2 and NAVI. They’re surely one to watch right now, having not conceded a single match so far and are well placed to head into the grand finals.
But they’ll have to beat Heroic to get there. While Heroic may have been through a bruising 2-0 loss against FaZe Clan in the group stage, they’ve got plenty to brag about this week too - having started this week’s tournament with a 2-1 win over Ninjas in Pyjamas, and sending G2 home in yesterday’s quarterfinals through another 2-1 victory. Heroic has had a strong year too, having already qualified for December’s BLAST World Finals. That’s a success that Team Liquid is keen to emulate with just two spots left for this year’s Finals, with one spot going to the winner of the Fall Finals tomorrow.
The odds are ever so slightly in Heroic’s favour over Team Liquid, at 1.79 vs 1.99 respectively. But with a number of surprise wins in recent CS:GO memory, it really is all to play for today.
