BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 Group Stage schedule and betting odds

The IEM Rio Major 2022 is now behind us, with Outsiders taking home a hard-earned victory after facing off Heroic in the finals. As such, all eyes are now on BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022, taking place at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen.

CS:GO’s next big event will be taking place from November 23 to November 27, where eight teams will be facing off to claim victory and their slice of the $425,000 prize pool, alongside BLAST Premier points and a chance to play on for further victory at the World Final tournament.

That list of eight teams is made up of Natus Vincere (Navi), Team Liquid, OG, G2 Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas (who all qualified for the tournament via the the BLAST Fall Groups), as well as Heroic and Fluxo, who earned their place in the tournament through their victories in the BLAST Fall Showdowns in their respective regions.

The group stage of the tournament will be kicking off on November 23, with four teams going head-to-head in double-elimination groups consisting of best of three matches. The bottom-placed team from each group will be eliminated at the end of the day, with two teams facing elimination on the 23rd while the remaining six teams will progress on to the playoffs.

Of those remaining six teams, the winners from this round will advance straight on to the semifinals. The runners-up meanwhile will head on to the high-seed quarter finals, while the teams placed in third will move to the low-seed quarter finals.

It promises to be an exciting tournament for CS:GO fans, with both FaZe and Navi having to make up for a disappointing showing in Rio, where FaZe were knocked out during the Legends stage in their match against Cloud9, while Navi went home during the quarterfinals after their defeat to Furia. Both teams were among the favourites to win back in Rio, and so we expect a strong showing from them in Copenhagen.

With all of that out of the way, let’s get on to the predictions!

BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 Group Stage matches

FaZe Clan (1.44) - OG (2.74)

The finals are kicking off at 9AM GMT on the 23rd, and the first match is definitely one to watch. Despite a disappointing showing at the IEM Rio Major 2022, FaZe are our favourites to win here, and a strong contender for the tournament overall. It’s a tough matchup for OG, who themselves have something to prove after being eliminated during the Challengers stage in Rio.

FaZe Clan are favoured over OG here, with odds of 1.44 vs 2.74, respectively

Heroic (1.41) - Ninjas in Pyjamas (2.86)

Similar to Faze and OG’s matchup, this face-off should prove interesting, though Heroic are favoured to win here. Heroic are fresh of coming tantalisingly close to victory at the Rio finals, being relegated to second place after their defeat to the ultimate champions, Outsiders. Ninjas in Pyjamas will really have to bring their A-game to compete here, having been eliminated in the Legends Stage in Rio.

Heroic is the favourite to win against Ninjas in Pyjamas, with odds of 1.41 vs 2.86.

Natus Vincere (1.11) - Fluxo (6.45)

With all respect to Fluxo, this isn't likely to be a close match. Navi are the clear favourites to win here, and have a good chance to take the whole tournament if they can keep up their solid winning streak, having won both the BLAST Spring Finals 2022 as well as last year’s Fall Final and World Final.

The odds are in Navi's favour here, with odds of 1.11 vs 6.45.

Team Liquid (1.94) - G2 Esports (1.88)

Our last matchup of the day is significantly less one-sided, with both teams having a real chance of winning here. Still, the slight favourite is G2 Esports. G2 had strong showings in both the Spring and Fall Groups tournaments earlier this year - though Team Liquid (alongside OG Esports and Navi) triumphed in the Fall Groups stage, and so it’s all to play for here.

This one is a little closer, but the odds are in G2 Esports' favour over Team Liquid, with odds of 1.94 vs 1.88, respectively.
