Astralis underlined their credentials as the greatest CS:GO roster in history with victory in the StarLadder Berlin Major - the Danish org's fourth major title.
Astralis beat underdogs AVANGAR 2-0 in Sunday's final to win their third consecutive CS:GO Major, returning to form after several underwhelming months.
Astralis won the ELEAGUE Major in Atlanta in 2017 before their sequence of three victories in 2018 and 2019 - the FACEIT London Major, IEM Katowice and StarLadder Berlin.
Astralis' CS:GO major wins
- ELEAGUE Major Atlanta - January 2017
- FACEIT Major London - September 2018
- IEM Katowice - March 2019
- StarLadder Berlin Major - September 2019
'The system works'
Astralis' patchy form in 2019 led to question marks over whether their "era" was over, with the team losing their place as world number one and the emergence of Team Liquid.
But coach Danny "Zonic" Sørensen said the team had "peaked at he right time".
Tweeting after Sunday's final victory over AVANGAR, he wrote: "MAJOR CHAMPIONS!!! Hasn’t been an easy ride the last couple of months but the system works!
"Peaking at the right time. So proud of the commitment from the players throughout this period."
