The second week of the LPL 2022 Summer is over and the third week has begun, pitting some of the best teams against each other. In order to secure their spot in the ten-team playoffs, teams will have to work hard and get wins early if they do not want to fail like Oh My God did last season and lose their spot in the final games.
JD Gaming, Victory Five, LNG Esports and Royal Never Give Up have made a perfect start, not losing a single series yet. At the bottom of the table are LGD Gaming, Team WE, ThunderTalk Gaming, Oh My God and FunPlus Phoenix without a win. However, their opponents were the toughest.

The second week of the LPL 2022 Summer continued with Rare Atom against Oh My God, before which the most important result was a 2-0 win by EDward Gaming against Weibo Gaming.
Rare Atom managed to beat OMG 2-1 thanks to a great performance from Cube who played Gwen and Nasus. Later in the day, Bilibili Gaming battled Ultra Prime but eventually took home the win 2-1 with Doggo and Crisp leading them to victory.
In their second match of the week, EDG was annihilated by JD Gaming. 369 played amazingly well with GP and Hope - Missing duo had a perfect day against Viper and Meiko. RNG completed the reverse sweep against FunPlus Phoenix, and once again the bot lane was the highlight: GALA's 7-2-2 Ezreal and 9-1-2 Kai'Sa supported by Ming's 0-1-11 Karma and 1-0-12 Nautilus.
Victory Five continued its winning streak even without Rookie as Dream had no trouble making up for his absence. After a 50-minute first game, V5 took the lead against LGD and finished the job in the second game. Top Esports destroyed Invictus Gaming 2-0, with Knight performing like a superstar, and Weibo Gaming secured a 2-1 win over Team WE, struggling more than they should have.
On Sunday, Betty's Anyone's Legend surprised Bilibili Gaming, beating them 2-0 and Xiaohao was the star of the day after his 6-0-10 Viego and 1-1-9 Nocturne. Finally, ThunderTalk Gaming managed to stand up to Doinb's LNG Esports for a while, but it was not enough as LNG secured victory in the tight third game where Light closed the bag with 6-1-5 Ezreal.
The third week began with JD Gaming dashing OMG's hopes: although Oh My God started with an easy 19-3 win, JDG's Yagao and Hope bore the brunt of it to carry their team to glory 2-1. Rare Atom had a tough time against Ultra Prime where UP managed to come back from a deficit. Cryin and Elk played amazingly well and kept their team in the game.
V5's perfect performance continued with Dream in the middle lane, not dying a single time against FunPlus Phoenix, giving his team the 2-0 win. MSI 2022 champs Royal Never Give Up were annihilated by Weibo in the second game of the series but responded with a similar performance, 22-5, in the last game where Breathe's 6-0-11 Sejuani was unstoppable.
Finally, EDward Gaming managed to defeat Invictus Gaming 2-1 and Top Esports left Bilibili Gaming with no hope of a surprise with a 2-0 win. The third week continues with some important matches, check them out below.
