The toppers and the tailenders at CBLOL are getting clearer each week: KaBuM! and FURIA lead the league with 5-1 while Flamengo and Rensga are stuck at the bottom with 1-5. With the storm of Zeri wreaking havoc on the Brazilian league, we had an amazing experience during week three and CBLOL promises more on week four as well.
In her first week, Zeri had a 100% presence in CBLOL and she had a 100% win rate in the games she was picked for, affecting the league heavily. Her new Trinity Force build which gives her massive movement speed boosts and on-hit damage seems to work greatly. CBLOL 2022 Split 1 Week 3 recap
Week 3 started with RED Canids vs Netshoes Miners, two teams that actually started well but had problems keeping their form going. RED secured their fourth win against Miners, utilizing Senna greatly. LOUD then defeated the underperforming INTZ, and we moved on to KaBuM! vs Liberty.
Both of these teams started this season well, but only one could secure the win here. After a 2-0 week for Liberty and 1-1 for KBM, Liberty might have had the chance to have a better motivation than their opponent, but well, I guess they forgot to ban Zeri and thus KaBuM! found their first win in Brazil.
Following that, paiN defeated Flamengo to find their second win, and as Rensga’s games were postponed because of the Covid-19 cases, the first day was over. Next day started with KaBuM! securing an easy 2-0 week against LOUD with once again Zeri being left open. There are two explanations for that, and I wonder if LOUD and Liberty leaving Zeri to KBM on purpose is the worse one or them just forgetting about Zeri is.
In the game that would decide the second 5-1 team after KBM (if FURIA could defeat Rensga), FURIA defeated RED Canids with fNb’s great success in the side lane with Jayce. Utilizing Envy’s Vex, FURIA was able to find the win in under 28 minutes and claim the top of the league. INTZ defeat paiN to catch up to them at 2-4, and Liberty defeated the Netshoes Miners who had a declining form recently on Zeri’s last match and third time she was picked on blue side’s first pick.
Rensga’s games were played on February 10 and 11, and they’ve lost both of them, one against FURIA and one against Flamengo, and it was actually FLA’s first win. They are stuck at the bottom of the league together with Flamengo Esports with 1-5.

While the first two matchups don’t create any hype, FURIA vs Liberty is open to many outcomes. Liberty could take the win and catch up with the top two, or FURIA might use this opportunity to further widen the gap between them and the rest of the league. LOUD will face a heavily underperforming paiN, and with their declining form, Netshoes Miners will have to face the monsters of KaBuM!.
On the second day, Liberty will have a rather easy one against Flamengo and leave the stage for the match of the week: KaBuM! vs FURIA. If both of them secure a win on the first day, this one will decide to whom the first place belongs. Netshoes will face LOUD in a matchup that gives similar chances to both sides, RED will take on the disappointing INTZ and Rensga will face paiN at the bottom of the league.
